Description

The HINT-C-TR measures sentence reception thresholds in quiet and in noise in children aged 6–12. It contains 12 phonemically balanced lists of ten sentences drawn from the adult Turkish HINT. Testing is done in quiet and with noise from the front, right and left, and spatial release from masking (SRM) can be calculated. The Turkish study established age-specific norms and correction factors from 62 children and 15 adults and found that children had not reached adult performance by age 12.
