The ÇİAT is a test battery that assesses the auditory perception skills of Turkish-speaking children aged 2–15 with 17 subtests ordered from easy to difficult. The subtests fall into six categories: phoneme detection, pattern identification, closed-set speech identification (words, sentences, Mrs. Potato Head), auditory–visual integration, modified open-set and open-set (Turkish Sentence Test, Listen and Do). Raw scores are normalised to 0–100. In the psychometric study of 180 children, 100 of whom used cochlear implants, internal consistency was high (Cronbach's α = 0.913) and lists within each category were equivalent.
