Description

The Spatial Hearing Questionnaire is a 24-item self-report tool that assesses spatial hearing abilities such as understanding speech in quiet and in noise and localising sound sources. Items are rated from 0 (not at all easy) to 100 (perfectly easy); the total score is the mean of the 24 items, and a higher score indicates better spatial hearing. Items can also be interpreted by domain, including speech in quiet and in noise, sound localisation, and different talkers and music. Internal consistency of the Turkish version was 0.94 in listeners with typical hearing and 0.97 in individuals with hearing loss.
