The SADL is a 15-item self-report tool that assesses hearing aid users' satisfaction with their devices. It has four subscales: positive effect, negative features, service and cost, and personal image. Items are rated on a seven-point scale; the global score is the mean of all 15 items and subscale scores are the means of their items (1–7), with a higher score indicating greater satisfaction. The Turkish version was studied in 160 adults who had used hearing aids regularly for at least six months, and the original four-factor structure was retained.
