According to the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery, three countries bid to host the symposium and it was awarded to Türkiye.
According to Prof. Güneri's announcement, APSCI was first held in Kyoto in 1996 and covers cochlear implantation and inner ear diseases together with neurobiology, engineering and rehabilitation. The two previous symposia are in Kuala Lumpur (2025) and Shanghai (2027).
